Dance intensive workshop

This summer, BODHI PROJECT organizes a dance intensive workshop for advanced dancers. The workshop is aimed primarily at dancers who are interested in the different choreographic approaches that are inherently a part of BODHI PROJECT’s diverse repertory. It’s highly recommended for dancers interested to audition for the company in the future to take part.

The five-day-intensive gives participants the opportunity to train with the current cast of BODHI PROJECT: Luisa Heilbron, Jeanne Procureur, Ofer Dayani, and Jaeger Wilkinson will give morning classes in yoga, neoclassical, and contemporary, as well as in creative/performative skills. The afternoon will be dedicated to individual solo composition and group work.

The goal of this summer intensive is to introduce the participants to the experience of being a dancer in a repertory company such as BODHI PROJECT as well as to give them insights into various contemporary dance techniques. There will also be a focus on developing the participants‘ own creativity and composition skills in the context of a guided solo creation process. BODHI PROJECT’s repertory showcases the artistic and technical excellence of the dancers‘ complex movement repertory, demanding theatrical elements and a strong stage presence.
